Worsley village is a conservation area, and it looks like one: black-and-white timber-framed buildings, painted render, the green water of the Bridgewater Canal and a lot of mature trees around the green and Worsley Woods. It sits alongside much newer housing further out towards Ellenbrook, so a typical week here can mean a listed frontage in the morning and a block-paved drive in the afternoon.
In the village itself everything is steam and softwash only — painted timber, lime render and older brick cannot take pressure, and the canal-side damp means algae returns steadily, so a gentle regular clean beats one aggressive one. Out on the newer estates it is render softwashing, driveway cleaning with re-sanding, and UPVC gutter, fascia and soffit cleaning.
