Cheadle Hulme sits a step up from its neighbour in plot size — larger interwar semis and detached houses, longer driveways, and a lot of mature garden planting around Gillbent Road, Hulme Hall Road and the roads towards Woodford. Bigger drives and bigger roofs mean the jobs here are simply larger, and the planting means more shade and more organic staining than you get in open Cheadle.
The two things we are asked for most often in Cheadle Hulme are long driveway restorations — tarmac, flag and block, usually with a gate pillar and a path thrown in — and full roof, gutter, fascia and soffit cleans on the deeper two-storey properties. On block driveways we always finish by re-sanding the joints, and on tarmac we keep pressure low so we do not tear the surface up.
