Timperley is classic 1930s suburbia: rows of bay-fronted semis with tiled roofs, part-rendered upper elevations, established front gardens and driveways that have usually been extended at some point. The plots are relatively open compared with Bramhall, so there is less moss, but the mixed surfaces — original flags next to newer block or concrete — mean driveways here often need two different cleaning approaches on the same job.
Around Stockport Road, Grove Lane and the roads down towards the Bridgewater Canal, our usual Timperley work is render and pebbledash softwashing on upper elevations, driveway and path cleaning, and gutter, fascia and soffit cleaning. The 1930s render on these houses is often painted, sometimes several times over, so softwashing is the only sensible option — pressure will find every weak patch.
